For years, the only solutions to poor quality drinking water involved buying water by the gallon at the supermarket or paying expensive fees to deliver 40-pound bottles to your home. Now, systems with the same technology as water bottling plants can be installed right under your kitchen sink, providing you with gallons of water for pennies a day. While standard reverse osmosis systems waste 4 or more gallons per every gallon produced. The new patented "Zero Waste" reverse osmosis system wastes no water. This state of the art system reduces Arsenic(v), Cysts, Barium, Cadium, Chromium, Copper, Floride, Lead, Radium 226/228, Selenium, TDS, and Turbidity. Over all, a goood system
I got this unit about a year ago. I had no problem installing it. The directions were clear. The connections were color coded. I had it up and running quickly. We had no leaks.
We use it to fill up our humidifier. We have never ran out of water. There is a small motor that quietly hums when the tank is refilling.
It does need to be plugged in, but we have an outlet under the sink for a garbage disposer and dish washer.
The waste water is pumped into the hot water system.
Overall, it is a good system.

Very difficult and expensive to install and maintain
We've had this system for over a year now. Water quality and operation is fine, but it is very difficult to install and maintain and comes with poor instructions. Maintenance parts are expensive, and do not include everything you need to carry out the maintenance procedures.
We had to get a handyman to install this system and it took him several hours to put it together. Then we realized that the system requires power and has to be plugged in to operate. Unfortunately, our home, like most homes, did not have electrical outlets under the kitchen sink. So we had to call an electrician to install an electrical outlet for the unit to be plugged in. By the time we were done, we had spent more on the handyman and the electrician than what we paid for the system!
Maintenance is also hard. The system require filters to be changed every six months. The replacements kitts and shipping charges from the Watts' website are expensive. I would tolerate that if the replacement...
Beats
I have been using this for several years. It works great. Previously I had a wasteful RO system. It trickled water down the drain 24-7. Big waste of water and noise enough to bother me sleeping. This produces about 2.5 gallons a day, which could be plenty or not enough. This one has a small electric pump, which hums when its making water, quiet when it's done. The water is perfect.
