With so many on offer these days, it is great to have a name you can trust. This item is certainly that and will be a perfect buy. The distributor have added some great touches and this equals great value.

Really sorry, but I can't endorse these
I've never written a negative review before, and I'm feeling guilty about this one. But these things just don't work. I think it is due to bad manufacturing, as I've used a similar design successfully in the past.
After 10 years of using similar looking suction hooks to hold Christmas wreathes to my windows, they started to fall apart. Since these looked exactly like the ones that I had used for years, I purchased them as replacements. That was mistake #1. Mistake #2 was throwing away the packaging before verifying that these were indeed replacements-in-kind for the old ones, so I couldn't return them. On all but one, the powerlock function (the lever that turns down to create a vacuum) didn't work. There is nothing wrong with the design concept, but the manufacture is poor. I'm giving two stars only because one of them worked well. I believe that this is quite generous on my part.

Good product for the price
The hooks are excellent for holding smaller items. I use them in the labs for holding lab coats and winter jackets. I wouldn't try hanging pots or pans, or anything that might break. Remember, after all, they are just plastic hooks. If the surface is smooth and you lightly moisten the back before you lock them in place they will hold. You get 2 larger hooks and then they gradually get smaller until you might just be able to hold a tea towel/potholder...something small. The only real drawback is getting the hooks out of the package. You need a box knife, the strength of Hercules and a note from Houdini to get them out. Be careful cutting around the base of the hooks as you could compromise the suction cup.
not so powerful hooks
The hooks are okay, do not think I would order them again. I had a super fantastic one that lasted for two years. This one pops off the wall every couple of days. I just pop it back up. I would not hang anything heavy from this hook.
