I really like this thing.
After about a hundred years my old shower chair started to crack and so I needed a replacement. I looked at everything on amazon and narrowed it down to this for several reasons. Since I lost my right leg in an auto accident I find it very difficult to get into the shower. This shower bench fits very well between the sides of the bath tub and locks down so it doesn't move. I was really impressed by the quality of this bench. I can now sit on the edge of the bench and swing around to get into the shower. I don't need to hop around like a parrot like I did with the old shower chair. This bench is rated at 300 lbs. so it is very strong to hold my fat butt.
There are some things you should know about this type of bench. Since it locks down between the interior side of the bath tub you need to cut the shower curtain to fit around the bench. I just used a pair of scissors to cut the shower curtain. If you make the cut snug around the bench you will not get any water on...

Easy
I just had back surgery and needed something that would allow me to sit down in the shower/tub. The bench is okay, but for me there were two issues. It has a hard time fitting into old smaller tubs, but it will fit. The other issue is what do you do with the shower curtain liner? I had to cut mine in order to accommodate the bench. It works well, but expect to make changes to make it work.

description says it's universal...it's not. You need to have a large edge on the inside wall of your tub, narrow and/or curved tubs are not a fit for this product.
The price was decent, I did the rigamarole to return it...the seller was responsive and did give me a return authorization. I decided NOT to return it because the return shipping was at my expense.
